  • Billions of chips are inserted into domestic devices, packages, vehicles, everyday objects, public spaces… but also the 120.000 trees of Paris, zones that are liable to flooding, incendiary forests, domestic animals...
  • “communicating“ objects become producers of data on themselves, on their history and environment and make human beings more aware of their environment and actions;
  • New «blogjets» promote social conversation, contribute to inform of the state of the world, and are open to any sort of creative appropriation and program by themselves their purpose or/ recycling;
  • An environment of use where technologies penetrate in all the compartments of life, responding to the major challenges of the society: aging of the population, insecurity, sustainable development etc;
  • A «traceability» that is controlled and measured in agriculture, economy, work, etc;
  • With ambient computing, we are passing from a «discreet» technology (statistically talking) (present in some places, mostly absent from other ones) to a continuous technology: networks cover the whole space, and every object is potentially “intelligent” and communicating; therefore, all is connected in default, including us.
